Introduction
Yes! You made it to us, and we want to save you as much time as possible and give you the best service. We use a free app called GroupMe, and this app can text you SMS messages (fees apply according to your service carrier) or you can download the free app. We use this system to update our shoppers as much as we can based on delays, cancellations, pop-up pantrys, and anything else that is important to know regarding our free food giveaways.
By joining, our organization or other shoppers do not see your phone number, it is private between you and the free app. Your profile is sometimes automated by google or you can choose your own profile picture. Whatever name you post, is the name that everyone sees (so you can use another name if you would like). You can also manage whether you receive the text messages or not, so you stay in full control. And of course, you can join and leave at your free will.
